When using Nero Recode (compressed domain transcoder) to copy a DVD-9 to a DVDR, is it better to use AnyDVD and transcode on the fly? Or DVDDecryptor and rip it to HD then transcode? Is on the fly bad for the DVD-ROM drive or does it matter?
Thanks.

I wouldn't have thought "on-the-fly" would be bad for the DVD-ROM - it can't be worse than playing the disc, can it?
Personally though, I would rip the DVD.
