    i have a vcd compliant mpeg but the audio doesnt match up with the video. its like 3 seconds behind. anyone know how to fix this or provide a link that will show me how? thanks in advance.

    I use Womble Mpeg-Vcr for this. De-multiplex the mpeg, adjust the a/v delay, with the slider them multiplex together again. You'll probably have to do this a few times, adjusting it slightly each time until you get perfect match up.
