    I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for this site. I've been lurking here for quite sometime first making VCDs. Last year I got a standalone DVD recorder because of some of your suggestions. About a week ago I finally got a DVD burner for my new computer. Because of what I've been reading over whole time I've been here, authoring and backing up my own DVDs (with FREE software no less) has been an absolute breeze.

    Once again, a BIG THANKS to all!

    No dude - Thank You for doing your research by "lurking" and finding your way through the maze!
    Hope others just starting out read this and realize that some things must be done on your own in order to get where you need to be...

    i might as well post my thnx too here - also a noob... didn't know a thing about dvd-burning before stumbling on to this forum.. thnx alot to all the people here who help out the poor and helplees noobs... the amounts of information here are simply freakin great
