  1. I love Sizzle, but am perplexed by the menu system. I can't see how to make each "button" on the menu change color (or do something) to indicate that it is being selected.

I know this isn't a problem when viewing a disc on a computer, but I think it's necessary for viewing a disc on a standalone player (through your TV).

I've searched all through this forum. I see a few people have mentioned this problem, but there seem to be no answers.

Is it possible to make each button change color when selected? How?

If it's not possible, how do you guys get around this? Do you simply put a number next to each button (letting the viewer know he can access button #2 by pressing "2" on his remote)? Is there a better way?

they are accessable in the order you put them in, such that you should put them in a visual order that represents the order you are addig them

mine get black lines underneath them when they are selected, and thats how i konw and i use my right/left buttons on my remove same as you would navagate on your standard dvd

not sure if you can make them change color when you are on one, that would be cool though

  3. Hi, I'm new to videohelp.com... just registered at on the forums but can't post for 2 days. I'm troubleshooting a frusterating problem, which, after searching here I have found brief mention, but no fix or work around.

I'll try to keep this post clear and concise. I am having the same problem as the original author of THIS thread.

I am making DVDs for Tivo extracted files and have already done so successfully with sizzle. At some point I updated fo sizzle 0.50b2 from b1 and I could swear, though I am not sure, that I have successfully burnt a DVD that sizzle assembled.

Somewhere along the line the menu highlights just stopped working. Sizzle will assemble the DVD image, but using apple DVD player, or testing on my stand alone player the menus don't highlight making it impossible to navigate a disc with 16 or more titles.

I tried down grading to sizzle 0.5b1 and got the same problem. I am perplexed and frusterated. I have e-mailed the author and have had no reply for several days at one address and bounces at the other.

Are there work arounds, is this a known bug, is sizzle still in development? Is there an alternative?

    Thanks

    -David
