Digitrex GK-4000 DivX problems

I recently have bought a Digitrex GK-4000 which plays DivX great. However, I have 2 problems and wonder if these are usual or if others experience it?

1. 'Rewind' speed is 16X and speed doesn't change even when you hit the rewind button and the screen says you are changing from 2X through to 16X.
2. Occasionally, I get two white dots on the screen that persist through the movie. These disappear after I power on and off the Digitrex.

Otherwise, its a great player!

Apparently this rewind thing is related to the Mediatek chipset.

I still dunno about these white dots...

ANyone help?

i am afraid i cannot help i have just bought one of these players myself. just wondering what resolution divx files you have tried on it yet?

I have the same problems and another problem is mpeg4 files don't resume once stopped even though it says they do in the manual, let's hope a firmware update might fix these.
