  1. hey,

just wondering what version of tmpgenc do you people use, and which divx codec should i install?

what settings do you have for environmental in tmpgenc esspecially where you can make the priority for those ones higher or lower.

also, what is the first thing you guys do when you get a movie that is slightly out of sync while using tmpgenc. btw, i usually rip the audio with virtualdub (full processing mode) before i encode.

any other process you use to encode?

    thanks a lot guys.

I am presently using TMPGEnc 2.520.54.163 and DIVX 2.520.54.163.
Never changed the environmental settings, default.

The other questions depend on what your video is and what you intend to do with it.

  3. thing is,

i gotta new comp last year (athlon xp 2500, 512 ram, 256VC) and got the latest divx codec (5.11) and tmpgenc Pro, and am just not making normal vcd's like i used to. I had a celeron 266mhz 128 ram machine with divx 3.1 and the old tmpgenc and used to make vcds like crazy. i have over a 150 from that old machine.
i still see what the frame rate is and encode according to it, use virtual dub, etc...

what is the best divx codec and tmpgenc to use in order to get regular divx and xvid movies into properly working vcds?

ps: i have a xvid codec and burn using nero, never had a problem.

    thanks a lot
