Apparently the sound track is not found. Try to disable the "Decode with mplayer" checkbox.

If it helps, the file was originally an ogm. I demuxed it to avi and ogg. then ogg to mp3 to mp2. I'm trying to connect the avi and mp2 in ffmpegx. I've been putting the audio on track 0. Should I be putting in on track 1 or is there something else wrong with the way I converted my ogg sound files?

You could try again (with "decode with mplayer" enabled) directly on the source .ogm file.

It recognized the ogm file and identified the video file, two audio files and the text file. In mmpegx, under the "video" tab I opened the ogm and then chose the "save as" name. I selected the quick preset for svcd then changed the cd selection back to "80m mode-1" because this is the type of disk I want to eventually burn to (am I missing some step in the video tab like the proper # of mins or disks - I left the disk # as 1 although the ogm is over 2 hours). I left the audio tab alone then checked the subtitles box in "filters" - I'm pretty sure this would have to be done in a separate step anyway). Under the "options" tab I deselected "letterbox" leaving "Altivec" and "Bicubic" selected. I then selected "decode with mplayer". Under "tools" I deselected "author as svcd" because I will need to add subtitles and hopefully a second audio file from the ogm later. I believe this was the proper procedure in one of the tutorials. This leaves only "split in auto chunks" and "keep elementary streams" selected". Perhaps I have not selected the proper boxes in "tools" or "Video" tabs. Anywho thanx for all your help so far.
