    I've noticed a few times that around 4:00pm (US Eastern Time) I've received these errors when posting. Anyone else? Is it me or is VideoHelp's Forum getting slammed.

    i must clean the mysql database again...it slows down everything...

    or just buy me a second server and it will be solved. :P

    Give mozilla firefox a try. I used to get timeout errors with IE6, but not with firefox.

    I'm running Mozilla now... not the firefox version... will look at it though.

    Out of curiosity... what at the specs of the server you are running. I run two SQL servers here in house and would like to see what phpBB runs on (well for that matter)

    the entire site is running on a dual amd mp2600, 3gb mem, 15gb scsi hd. it should be enough but I have lots of "slow" php code and mysql statements....i'm constatly adding new code = new bugs = slow site...
