  2. You'll need to expand and select the tracks you want. Just look for ones that are larger than 1700MB. Also, note that when you rip the VOB files will be missed numbered, and either the first or last vob might not contain any data.

    So rename them as necessary.

  4. I believe SmatRipper automatically defaults to the largest group of connected VOB files (usually the movie) and ignores the rest.

Click on the Files button and select all the tracks.

  5. Well you don't need to do them all.

When you run smartripper you'll see a list of tracks, and one of them will be highed as the movie (the largest track).

Think of it just like windows explorer, click the + button next to the track to expand it, and then see what the runtime is. The Sopranos are 50-60min/eps so you can look for tracks that are listed at 1800MB of greater (the 350MB tracks won't have the movie in them).

Then highlight and rip each track you want (make sure to give them different names).

Now, soprano's specific. Normally when you rip you get xxx_1.vob, xxx_2.boc, etc. But when you rip the Soprano's you'll get:
    xxx_1.vob
    xxx_2.vob
    xxx_6.vob
    xxx_8.vob

And there's a good chance that either the first or last VOB (maybe both) won't have any actually data in them. So you need to play each VOB file (media player can do this), erase the VOBs w/ no data. Then re-name each vob in increasing numerical order, otherwise dvd2avi won't read/load them all.

Also don't be surprised if when you play the VOBs in media player if the total times don't add to ~55min (ie. the runtime, normally one of them will read as 1:40) and you will hear all the audio tracks played at the same time
