    Hi! I have 4 .avi files that I would like to convert to VCD/SVCD and then put on a single DVD-r. Is this possible? Can someone point me in the direction of the steps I need to take to do it? I am really new to this and have searched high and low for an answer, but none of the posts really apply to what I want to do...

    welcome to the mac forum
    there are lots of tutorials for things like this

    for starters, you can go to This Sticky in the mac forum, it has most all of the guides that are floating around
