if a original dvd disc bitrate is 6000 and i want to encode a 25 min avi video with TMPGenc at 8000 bitrate will it consider as a xdvd or just as same as original dvd but with higher bitrate?????

DVD supports up to 9.8mbps for video bitrate, any higher than that would make it an xDVD.

The other thing is that the combined bitrate can go to 9.8MBit. That is, audio + video combined, not just video.If in doubt, Google it. -
