So i have a few dvd image files of extension .img and .iso, and when i burn them using nero and then try to play them in my ps2 i get a tv system error which i have been told means that the dvd is coded to the wrong region. So basically what i need to do is take the region coding out of the dvd image file.
Heres what i've tried so far. I've tried taking one of the burned dvds and using dvdshrink to make a bakeup copy of it, then selecting the region free mode, but that didn't work. I've also tried removing the region coding from the .ifo files in the video_ts folder of the dvds but that didn't work either. I also tried the stupid code to unlock my ps2 for all regions but that didn't work either.
Anyways if someone could provide me with step by step instructions on how to do this, or just point me in the right direction

You sure this isn't a PAL-NTSC issue rather than a region coding issue.

Well how exactly would i know if it was a PAL-NTSC issue? When i burn the images i can play the movies fine in my pc dvd drive which has been unlocked for all regions, but both my ps2 and my roomates dvd player give me region errors when i try the burned dvds in them.
