yea I know, it was an after thought post to fill some time and wasn't intended to be taken seriously in a thread about "movies bring tears to your eyes." -

I'm sure the "fly strip" looks good to the fly until it stops by and checks it out
I won't be stopping by a pornstar anytime soon...my wife kind of frowns on things like that

Many movies, including most of those already posted here. The last one, though, was "Big Fish".

There I was, a big boy, sitting in the middle of the theatre crying like a little girl. -
I like Zulu too. And from the same year (I think), The Warlord with Charlton Heston. Last ten minutes should squeeze a tear outta you.

Schindler's List only mentioned once?
The warm-up is near the end where the war is over and Oskar Schindler needs to run from being tried as a war criminal and all the Jews are there to see him off and give him that ring made with gold from their own teeth and he cries out how anything worth anything could have been sacrificed to buy more lives. The tears really start rolling when they show the actors and their real-life counterparts (or relations) setting stones on the real Oskar Schindler's grave while Perlman plays that fantastic violin solo theme. By far the most moving scenes from a movie I have ever seen, and one of the main reasons why Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley are in my list of top actors.
Another great tear-jerker is the scene in Ikiru where Kanji Watanabe is dying alone on the swingset in the park he helped build singing that sad song as large snowflakes are falling. There are several other very emotional scenes in other Kurosawa films as well, Madadyo has kind of a happy sadness to it as does several scenes in Seven Samurai.
On a related note the most depressing film I've ever seen is The House of Sand and Fog. Very uncomfortable to watch for the first part and the ending is just a downward spiral. Not that it isn't a well-done movie. There is a phenominal acting by Kingsley and Connoly, though Ron Eldard could have been left out. In fact pretty much every part except his was well-played. It's just you get done with the movie and you sort hate life
