  1. Hi,

I recently obtained a game (I know it's not a video but I figure the same rules apply?!) in a BIN image format. I usually know how to deal with these files, but there was no CUE file with it, is there a way to create a CUE file? Or even burn the BIN without using CUE?

Thanx heaps if anyone can help me!!!

    Baz

    this should work -

create a new file with notepad and name it with the bin file name and add the .cue extension.

    in the file write:

    FILE "your-file-name.BIN" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

and that's it... that should work...

You could mount the bin(image) file and then do a disc copy in your burning software.

  5. Thanx guys!! I'll try all your suggestions, it's a real help.

Galactica - I didn't know what forum to post in, only coz I'm new to this website, and there was no forum labelled specifically with BIN/CUE file help on the main page so sue me, no need to be an ******* about it!

    Thanx again guys,
    Baz

You could use isobuster to extract the mpeg file from the bin and just burn that as a vcd/svcd with nero, but tkamin advice should work in most cases.

Yes use 'isobuster' - but use it open the bin file, then right-click on the 'CD' directory and select the option 'Create CUE File'.

    What could be simpler?
