well, first of all, your using dvd2svcd. you want to convert avi to dvd, not dvd to svcd, as the name of the program suggests. Just use TMPGEnc to convert your avi file to dvd there are lots of guides on the left.

Grimey,dvd2svcd can be used to encode to dvd, cvd, vcd and svcd,as to the slow motion problem have you installed the newest xvid codecs?Try encoding again if you install the newer codecs.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  5. Sorry! for posting the same question in multiple forums.
I didn't know that this forums is monitored very well. Unlike other forums I'v had been. It takes weeks before I get answered.

TMPGEnc Plus tooks too long for me, and quatility is not so good as CCE. I also tryed MainConcept MPEG Encoder it also tooks long time. I use normaly Super DVD Creator 7.0 for to conver but with this xvid I got then audio syncronisation problem. But if I use TMPEnc Plus I rather then use TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator it works also fine but I got PC crush my Pc just stop working and need to reboot. That is why I use DVD2SVCD I dont get Audio problems. I maybe later go for Pentium.

About installing new xvid codecs, I dont think that will solved the problem
couse when I play the xvid avi file it works normal there is no problem, so to my conclution it relays maybe to my CPU it self or the encoder settings.

Then again please help me to solve this.
