Thats amazing actually...If we look at how many versions of "Catwoman" are floating around on the net..I count 2 Real ones, if you dont count an improper Telesync and a workprint by some loser group named "DiLDO"..
And yet, heres the funny part: I count 6, yes thats right, 6 versions of Spiderman 2 floating around.

So, once again we see that piracy is Not to blame for a loss profit, its called Making a bad movie and not owning up to it.

    lol, "DiLDO" :P

Indeed. Can you imagine all the whining the studios would do these days if they'd made a film like Still Smokin' (which I am unfortunate enough to be watching now) or Police Academy? "Oh no, we didn't make a piece of crap that nobody wants to see, it's the pirates..."
"It's getting to the point now when I'm with you, I no longer want to have something stuck in my eye..."

I have to jump ship on Police Academy. It was mindless humor, and meant to be. It has been decades since I saw it, and I still smile when I think of the horse scene ("Somebody get a vet!"). And "Jaws" whinnying like a horse at the next roll call. Priceless!

Maybe mentioning Police Academy as an example was going a bit far, but what I am trying to say is that if Warner Brothers made such a film today, they'd spend $100 mil on it, cast people like Tom Hanks in the Steve Guttenberg role, and then have the nerve to wonder why it performs poorly. I would be surprised if the Ladd Company spent more than two mil on that piece of crap back in those days.

The prospect of the real Tom Hanks dying of AIDS is one I actually find funny, but somehow that scenario seems entirely plausible to me.

I'm still trying to work out how Gigli got the green light. If ever there was a film that deserved to be pirated...

Halle has a much better body, but Michelle has more charisma. It's a toss up for me.
