I'm getting this error message when I try to record or start Instant TV replay in PowerVCRII 3.0. Could some one please help. It was working before I changed my soundcard from Philips Rhythmic Edge to Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. Thanks.

  2. I'm getting the same error and I have an aiw/128. I'm trying the demo version. I've emailed their tech support and still no response. I did receive a confirmation email the "Jason C." is looking into it. It's been two weeks.

I sent an inquiry to cyberlink also and it's in a wait status with "joyce_c". Sounds like another product with terrible support. I saw 3 other person at http://www.dvdonet.com/forums.jsp with same problem but no one has any solutions yet.

Looks like problem/imcompatibility with latest AIW radeon driver version 4.13.7189. It works with earlier version 4.13.7075. But Cyberlink PowerVCR customer support sucks, since still no reply from them.

Program worked fine with my old capture card but also got the same error when I installed my new AIW card, so must be a driver problem.

Here is the answer I got from Cyberlink, Haven't tried it yet as it seems like to much work for a program I probubly won't use much, but if someone else wants to try it and it works, let me know and I may give it a go also:

    (1) Please update your capture card driver. (2)Uninstall Power VCRII (by following steps) --> uninstall CD Recording software (if you have) --> Re-install Power VCRII (a) Start --> Programs --> Cyberlink Power VCRII (uninstall it) (b) Start --> Run (keyin "regedit&quot --> HKEY_Current_User --> Software --> Cyberlink --> Power VCRII (delete the folder) (c) Start --> Run (keyin "regedit&quot --> HKEY_Local_Machine --> Software --> Cyberlink--> Power VCRII (delete the folder) Thanks!!

  7. Hey, I might give that a try, if ATI would ever come out with REAL XP drivers for my AIW Rage Fury Pro, I am getting that msg too. I think I like some of the features of PowerVCR, I want to play with the "tivo-like" features, pause and replay!!

I got the same reply from cyberlink. But it does not really say how to fix the problem. All it's says how to uninstall PowerVCR. As I mentioned in my earlier reply that it works with AIW radeon driver version 4.13.7075, So I just removed the latest driver 4.13.7189 and re-installed ver 4.13.7075 and it's working. But if anyone knows how to get this working with ver 4.13.7189, please let me know. Thanks.
