  1. When I convert avi or mpg to SVCD (mpg2) using TMPGEncoder, I can't seem to open the mpg2 file with windows media player or any other mpg2 player. All I got is audio, no video at all. TMPGEncoder didn't give me any errors while it is converting, so I have no idea what is wrong. Please help..

    You cant play an mpeg2 clip without an mpeg2 decoder. Do you have a software dvd player installed? If not install one.

    Actually, i used videolan for windows without the need of any dvd software. Try that.
