Computer rebooting! PLZ HELP!

i've having problems with playing numerous video clips on my computer. it simply reboots the moment after windows media player starts, after having opened a clip. i've installed the ace mega codecs pack, but i don't know if that causes the problem cause everything worked fine for a period after having installed it. i also uninstalled it without solving the problem. does anybody have a clue what may cause my problem. i desperately need help.

I'll bet it was the codec pack that caused your problem. Uninstalling them doesn't always fully get rid of everything.

I assume you've got WMP 9 ? You could download this from here for Win98SE, ME & 2000 or here for Windows XP and reinstall it and see if that works.

thanx, but i've already done that. i installed a different codec pack as well, but the computer stil reboots on the same files...
