  1. ok, i'm gonna keep this short & simple, cause it's actually a fairly easy thing to do I believe. I wanna make a short clip that advertises a group I'm part of, and then embed it into the end of an .avi file. I've read how to do the embedding to the .avi file so I can handle that, but I don't known what program(s) to use to make the movie clip. And & all idea's can be posted here. Thanks a billion in advance!!

  2. You could start by spending less time filling the board by posting your message on multiple forums and reading the rules of the forum before posting.

  4. Exactly what kind of clip are you wanting to make? From scratch, you could use Macromedia Flash to make the clip and export it as a AVI. If you want to piece together parts of MPG files, get the individual MPGs you want, seperate the audio and video, edit the video (possibly by frames with Photoshop) and then piece them all back together and convert to AVI. What do you want the clip to have on it? Some text? Pictures? Video? Sound? How long? We need more details to give you help.

  7. Here's what I would do...

    1. Make your logo and/or IRC chat label into a BMP file. If you don't have Photoshop, use Microsoft Paint (press Start - Programs - Accessories - Microsoft Paint). Put your text, maybe draw a picture, whatever.

    2. Get your background music. If it's an MP3, convert it to WAV using WinAmp.

    3. Load TMPGEnc. Go into MPEG Tools and convert your .BMP to a .m1v file. I think it's called m1v. Convert your .WAV file into an .mp2. Now get out of MPEG Tools. Put the M1V as your video source and the MP2 as the audio source and that'll convert it to an MPG video.

    4. Load VirtualDub. Open the MPG and save it as an AVI. Open your original AVI and append your new AVI to the end of it. Game, set, and match.

If you don't know where to get the programs...
    VirtualDub - http://www.virtualdub.org
    TMPGEnc - http://www.tmpgenc.com
    WinAmp - http://www.winamp.com

Also check the guides and the Tools section to the left hand side of this page.

Any other questions, just let me know.
