  1. I'm burning 7 svcd files, each in a vts, with a plain vanilla menu. I've modified no default settings.

Everything seems to be playing fine except for the menus. I can’t select a program onscreen, although I can simply skip through them, or choose one numerically. There was some reports of problems with JVC players, mine is an XV-n44. I haven't tried other players.

    ideas?

  3. Maybe I'm missing something but what do the encode settings have to do with menus? And if they do, what setting are you referring to?

encode settings ARE in dvd menumaker

And if they do, what setting are you referring to?
    dvd menumaker/settings/encode size/1frame or 120 frames.

    ideas?
changing this setting worked for me with your problem.
    worth a go, no?

  5. KN,

finally found time to try your advice, bingo! I never noticed that settings choice before, and wouldn't have known what it was anyhow.

Nother question, is this menumaker capable of giving a continuous play setting, so if I have 8 shows in 8 vts's on a disk, they will just play in sequence without returning to the menu?

  6. Glad it worked out.
As fot the VTS issue, I've often pondered a way around that myself.
I usually use DVDLab if I need to do this.
Perhaps Chrissy Boy has something planned for the next version.

A "Play All" option for menus is planned...
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  8. ChrissyBoy,

After taking a look around at the other options for "play all" authoring, all I can say is PLEASE add a "play all" option to this great program! I don't need bells & whistles, just want the kid's videos to keep going without attention from me.

    thanks

  9. I have a JVC VX-N50 player. I have tried changing the menu frame rate as mentioned here, but no luck. I tried different fonts and colors, still no luck. The menu actually works, but you cannot see what's happening because the highlight color stays the same color as the button text. i can live with it but . . .

    Any other possible solutions ?

    Thanks
