  1. I am using TMPGEnc Author 1.5 to make a DVD from a captured video tape. When I open the file it says " A video sequence header is necessary for every GOP in a standard DVD." How do I go about adding that?

    Thank you

You can also run the mpg thru tmpgenc/mpeg tool/merge and cut and choose mpeg-1 video-cd as output type.

Just for future reference, if you've encoded the captured video tape using TMPGEnc (an assumption) then the setting you need to make in TMPGEnc to avoid this is:

    1. Click "Setting" bottom right of TMPGEnc window.
    2. Go to "GOP Structure" tab.
    3. Set "Output interval of sequence header" = 1.

    Hope that helps...

It works for DVD, as well - select Mpeg 2 Program, instead of Mpeg 1.
