  1. i cant delete the divx movies off my pc, and any drive on the pc....iam using xp pro and can delete anything and everything else but divx....someone please help me with this, i dont know what is binding the files..

    Hehehe... dude, that happens to me all the time.
    I just reboot, and then it unbinds whatever the hell is using it, and then I can delete. But yeah, does anyone know why XP would do this to files? WTF is that? Crazy-ass bug...

    It's a bug in Explorer with XP. An easier and quicker way to work around it is to open Task Manager (Ctl-Shift-Esc), go to Processes, and End Explorer.exe. This will clear your task bar, etc. at the bottom but any other programs (Outlook, TMPGenc, etc.) that are running will keep on running. Then, on the Task Manager menu, select File / New Task and enter Explorer. I then go to a command prompt and delete my files from there. I haven't tried to re-open Explorer to do it.
