I recently bought a DOSHIMA DO-2038 on ebay. It looks good but when I did some research on the net I discovered some people saying it was a clone of the Elta 8883 and some saying it isn't. If someone could answer a few questions for me that would be great.

1. Is the DOSHIMA DO-2038 a clone of the Elta 8883 or the Elta 8883A.
2. What is the latest firmware for this player? Also, how do you find out the current firmware version of your player?
