    Hi!

I just wonder if there is a software that could convert avi (divx) with AC3 sound to elementary streams (.mpa, Mpv)?

    Thanks in Advance

  2. Besweet can extract the audio stream, use the -payload switch. Be sure VOBInput.dll is in the besweet folder. After extracting you often need to run the AC3 file through AC3Fix.exe to use it on a DVD. For extracting videostream virtualdub has always been very good (Audio - > No Audio, Video -> Direct Stream Copy).

Thanks for a quick answer, but I would love to have One software to rip the video and audio and make them to .mpa and mpv(mv2).

I´m gonna use them in DVD-Lab later and I would be happy if I just could Import them to DVD-Lab as .mpa and mpv : )

And of course I would like the software to convert it from NTSC to PAL and if it is possible to merge some Subs too : )

    Regards,

  4. You will have to convert the video stream anyway, and i dont know of any all in one programs to do this. No need to extract the videostream in your case, the avi file with sound will do the job just as good. At least you dont have to convert the audio, but i can assure you there is no way around encoding the videostream
