  1. I am having a problem with video playback where the audio is out of sync, this started about a week ago and it happens with all videos no matter what format it is or what codec/player I use to decode them, I have no idea whats going on and have never seen anything like this. I was hoping someone here could help me correct this.

    S'funny but my Zoomplayer has started this trait on some avi's...but not all....on one vid the sync is out by nearly 5 minutes towards the end!!!

    the problem does not occur (playing the same avi's) when using TCMP or VLC....so i suggest going to the TOOLS section under MEDIA PLAYERS and downloading TCMP (the Core Media Player) and VLC (Viodeolan).......and whilst your at it you might as well get MPC (Media Player Classic) as well.

    Why is it happening? I haven't a clue!! i dont install codecs unless needed and use FFDShow...so I'm baffled as well.

  3. I use ffdshow and VLC, I'll try TCMP, hopefully it helps.

  4. nope, didn't fix anything, every video I watch is still out of sync by about half a second .
