i use the bit torrent client abc i have tried torrentstorm which was ok but a bit basic and i also tried bitornado but that seemed harder to set up correctly to me. i use emule somethimes as its quite good, i use an ip blocker called protowall http://www.bluetack.co.uk/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2 and i use the blocklist manager with it. that doesnt mean its 100% safer but its alot better than not using it i would say. havent used kazzalite for 3 years, i tried a p2p called ares which was fairly good, but was not long out then (it was about a year ago). i tried winmx that seems quite good but i stick with abc and emule as i dont want too much file sharing stuff on my computer causing conflicts etc.

Anything specific that you noticed?? What should I be looking for and how did you find it? -
Hmmmmm I am well versed in BT and i have used Bit Tornado and plain Shadows BT client.. (both from same guy) and they are un registered pgms.. IE they dont need to install into reg or sys dir.. you can asso file types. but ive never seen any of my clients load anything.. ive used BURST official BT and Btornado and shadows experimental.. as i mentioned Azureus is still the best.. but never seen any spy ware.. i wonder if you got a hacked version. cant say.. might be a coincidence

I downloaded mine direct from the BitTornado website.
I just downloaded both and the executable from CNET is 50K larger. Maybe that's the difference?
EDIT - Saw this on the Azureus sourceforge site.
"Azureus_2.1.0.4_Win32.setup.exe available on some sites contains a spyware."
Guess this would probably be true for any other program you download from a 2nd hand sight. -
I got mine from the BitTornado website too. All I know is that after I loaded it Norton Internet Security started asking me about all sorts of strange stuff that I suspected was spyware. I ran AdAware and Spybot and it detected dozens of things. Then after Norton AntiVirus ran its daily scan it came up with more.
I didn't have this stuff before I installed BitTornado, and now that I've deleted it and the spyware, none of it has returned so far. The only other thing I can think of is one of the sites I visited to get the info to try a download. Either way, it was all connected to BitTornado.... -
A quick question regarding BitTorrent. Why is it everytime I try downloading something, it usually goes very slow to download something, but when I look at what I've uploaded, its high. Is there anything I can do to limit how much I upload? It's like I'm doing more seeding than leeching.
P.S. I'm very new to the program."The statement below is True,
The statement above is False" -
ares or ares lite. got my mom naked on there...wanna see??? she made silver beaver 2 spreads in a row
