  1. Im using the latest version 317. I open my vobs ripped with decriptor, reautor, then choose the main movie file, it show my compression is at 69.5, the file size is 4464. Saved it to my disk for nero buring, but somehow in Nero it say the file is too big won't fit my dvdr like near 5 gigs or so. Another problem is that sometime during the encoding, I would receiver an error saying "out of memory" or somthng like that. Please help!!!

If this is happening all the time, it's likely a misconfiguration.

But if it happens occasionally, it's due to a "bug" in DVD Shrink that makes it sometimes pick the wrong size for the output. You can either:

    1. Shrink it again (not a good idea).

    2. Turn on Advanced Analysis (takes longer, but more likely to hit the target size).

    3. Set a target size a little smaller than the size of a DVD, in order to "trick" DVD Shrink into making the output the correct size.
