dvd has sound on computer but not on dvd player

not sure if this is the right place but here goes,I made a dvd from my dv camcorder and captured with showbiz,tried with windows movie maker. I tried to burn from showbiz which has worked in the past.Resulting dvd has sound when played on my computer but not on Dvd,same goes when I used tmpge then nero any help would be appreciated

What TV format do you use? Is it NTSC?
Its possible that the programs you are using are generating mp2 format audio which is not supported by some DVD players sold in NTSC regions (its an option in the DVD spec, but mandatory for APL areas).
