Hi guys,
Is it possible to have a DVD authored so that it switches in real time
between 16:9 letterbox and pan&scan?
I need to do this 'cause some of my captured dvb videos are native
16:9, but switch to "4:3 within 16:9" for some clips.
When this happens I want the video displayed in center-cut (pan&scan) mode.
I read in a different forum that DVDMaestro can do it . Here's how it was put "having the ability to have both 16:9 and PanScan (say for music videos) flipping happily throughout the entire length."
Thanks in advance,
Keith

if it were split into different titles it would be easy to do, not sure if it's all the same title.
also, this will make the video a bit funky when you're viewing on a wide display, it would switch between corret aspect ratio and a stretched ratio... -
Thanks for the reply. Splitting the video is too much work. Also, I wouldn't bother about wide displays as I don't have one.
