    I just purchased a new dvd player since my dvd-r discs dont work on my old PS2, but my new player freezes a few seconds into every chapter, and then plays the new chapter over again. Its really annoying having to watch the first few seconds of each chapter twice. I put in a regular DVD and it worked fine though. Does anyone know why my chapters are messed up like this. Oh ya, and this problem doesn't occur in the other players in my house, and my new player is a Cyberhome 402
    What do you do with a BA in english?

    since the problem doesnt occur in any other of your players sounds to me like this new one is defective

    recommendation: return it and get one like the other players in your house
