That might be useful to some people who recently bought a DL burner and don't know the right way to burn those expensive DVDs.

- First of all: do NOT even try DVD Decrypter, making an ISO or something. It's not gonna work.

- Download the latest version of Nero > www.ahead.de (currently 6.3.1.15), or at least version 6.3. The trial version is free.

- You can use DVD Decrypter (or your favorite DVD ripper) to rip your DVD files (*.*.VOB, *.*.BUP, *.*.IFO, etc.). In DD, use the FILE mode (not IFO or ISO), click Edit and Select All. Then rip your files on your hard drive. Knowing it's a DVD9 with usually around 7-8 GBs of data it's gonna take a while.

- When it's done, close DD and open Nero. Create a new DVD VIDEO compilation (not a DVD ISO or anything else). Just drag and drop your files from the explorer on the right to your VIDEO_TS folder in your DVD VIDEO compilation.

- Do NOT drag and drop the files in the AUDIO_TS folder or at the root of your DVD VIDEO compilation. Make sure you have ALL the files which are in the original folder. Insert your DVD+R DL in your DL burner.

- When you're sure everything is ok, just hit BURN. Nero will take anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the DVD. You will see "Burning Layer 1", and then "Burning Layer 2". Avoid doing anything on the computer while you're burning your DVD+R DL (at least not before prices drop! ).

- At the end of the process, Nero will tell you the DVD+R DL was burned successfully.

Now is the time...try your DVD+R DL in your stand alone DVD player. It should work perfectly, unless your player is not compatible.
