Simple step, but what in the world happend!!

Guys splitting a vid to put on a cd using TMPEG. Split it in half and coverted the first part. Perfect! Now when I try to get the 2nd half of it all I am getting is a black screen. Why! The vid plays perfect there is nothing wrong with the vid. Example, using the source range started it at 0 and stopped it at 10,000 to get the first half of it. Than I went back and started it at 10,000 and stop it at the end. Only this time I am getting a black screen in the preview window and a black screen when it is finished.

Try encoding the whole video then splitting the finished Mpeg using the mpeg tools in TMPGEnc. I assume since you said you're putting this on a cd your talking about a vcd or svcd, in which case you could do that.

May have to, cause I am completely stumped on why the 2nd split is no picture just black screen.
