After using Gmail for a while now I can say it's far superior to any free web mail, and The features make it far superior to any email really. I'm seriously thinking of using it exclusivle for my person email needs.

The whole concept is friggin awesome with lables instead of folders, threaded messages and the search can't be beat. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do you wonder why someone didn't think of this sooner!

The only hold up I have, is I have been burned with free email in the past (.mac) and don't like the idea of not having complete control over my email, ie mail server, domain name etc....

Yeah, I was a bit worried when I transfered all of my memberships to my gmail account, that if anything happened to the account I would loose all of my memberships, especially since it is still beta. I trust google not to do that to me though.

I want to give away the invite soon, but I dont know the people on this board very well yet, so if you suggest someone please put their email or PM name. Thanks.

Well, I never thought Apple would do that either, esspecially to a paying customer. Hopefully google has a better ethic.....

Craig was suggested first, but I haven't seen him reply that he wants it. Cobra was suggested, he didn't want it. If stilt wants it, and flan seconds it, why not let him have it?
