    Hi,

    I have an AVI file that plays fine in windows media player and a few other players.
    Yet when I am in TMPGENC and doing a source range select, the video shows black only and the audio timeline is blank also.

    I have converted hundreds of AVI files to dvd mpeg files and this is the 1st time I have seen this problem.

    GSPOT does not show any problems, since the codecs are installed.

    Make sure the Directshow codec has the highest priority in the environment settings
