  1. Hi There, thanks for this forum - I have looked through many pages but have yet to find a problem like this. Most sudio synch problems seem to be when you still have the MPEG files mine a little different.

I start with perfectly synched MPEG2 files which I then feed into Intervideo WinDVD creator to creat into a DVD for me. this works great but each MPEG on the DVD is now out of synch - It starts off ok right in the begining but very quickly each one gets out of synch in about 30sec to a minute.

    Any suggestions?

I am using a Samsung SH-W08 dual combo recorder.

    Thanks

Try TMPGEnc DVD Author. You can download the DEMO version of it for FREE in fact it works full featured for something like 2 to 4 weeks before it "locks up" and must be registered (i.e., purchased).

It is simple and easy to use and will not cause A/V sync issues if your files are truely OK to begin with.

In fact any decent DVD authoring program should be fine.

In short ... the problem is probably the program you are now using ... as in it being a POS!

    Just a quick thought --

Check to make sure your audio is at 48K, not 44.1.

i have the same problem and all authoring programs create bad audio synch after compile video_ts!!! help!!! mpg's are are dvd compliant with respect to audio being 48k ac3, 384bitrate. they are captures from wintv usb pvr2 and audio is in synch, then they are trimmed/cut using mpeg video wizard (womble products in general) and the resulting mpg's also have audio in synch. then i author/compile using dvd-lab or tmpegnc dvd author or ulead dvd workshop2 or dvd maestro...all end up with audio getting more and more out of synch as movie progresses. any help greatly appreciated. also, demuxed mpg and imported elementary streams into maestro same problem, also used maestro "audio synch" tool to synch timecode exactly to video...still came out with bad synch!
