lol, 'the trick of a prick' but I cannot find a valid point to argue against it , sorry Supreme :P

I'm guess I'm just as impressed as Will. Can anyone tell me how many wouldn't have fallen for it if some unknown newbie had posted a similar post to Supreme's

did anyone suggest to ROCKwithRESPECT that he does a simple check and preview the ripped files on his Hard Drive to see if it's ripping properly?

    p.s.
its not the media, its not the
burner ACP was distributed, before they found
out there was a problem with the pressing....
if you rent another one, same results will
    occur!!!!
just wanted to see what it was supposed to look like , guess it changes the tone a little

  2. Gurm is absolutely right. I was able to back up Along Came Polly with no problems whatsoever. The problem lies in your media.

Uhh... it doesn't make perfect sense. Let me be more clear:

    1. I have a copy of ACP which backed up without incident. This allows us to ascertain that SOME copies of it are just fine.

    2. I obtained my copy ON RELEASE DAY, which would mean it was in the "first pressing", ostensibly "before they found out about the pressing problem".

    3. If he "goes and rents another copy", he might get one of the good ones (assuming there are ANY bad ones at all).

Therefore, one can CONCLUDE the following:

    A. There ARE known good ones.
    B. There MAY be bad ones, based solely off the word of someone with extremely poor grammar and spelling on a forum on the Internet.
    C. At least SOME of the good ones were available on RELEASE DAY.

And it is reasonable to ASSUME the following:

    X. Any given copy has the possibility of being good.
    Y. Renting another copy might in fact get you a good one.

And it is at least POSSIBLE that:

    Z. There aren't any bad ones, or at least no more than you might expect from ANY run of DVD's - i.e. one or two here and there.

Whoops, I forgot to insert my <SARCASM> </SARCASM> tags in my previous post. I thought the 'small businesses" (DVD production houses) was kind of a giveaway.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

I'm immune to sarcasm after the last couple days. My bad.
