No audio during capture w/ ATI AIW, help please!!

System: AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1400 mHZ,
Windows 98SE
40 gig 7200 HD
ATI AIW Radeon 32 MB DDR Video card
VitualDub installed
Huffy installed (recognized by VD)
SB Audigy MP3 sound card

Virtual Dub seems to let me capture ok, but w/ no audio. Any suggestions? I checked "lock video to audio" and "capture audio" under capture settings.

Also, under video menu, the only device listed at the bottom is "Microsoft WDM Image capture". Although "ATI Rage Theater Video Capture" shows up under video>source. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Beastafa

You might have already tried this but I assume you are sending the audio in thru the line in on your sound card. Click on the speaker in the task bar click on options then properties and select recording then make sure line in is checked then select ok. A recording control window will pop up make sure select under line in is checked. I have an ATI all in wonder as well 700MHZ Duron 256 MB of ram and do all my recording thru ATI Multimedia center (modified complete instructions found here on VCDhelp . No need to encode all you have to do is record. Then use Nero and burn the VCD. Great Quality om my Apex 500w
