Hello, I'm in the process of trying to correctly calibrate my regular TV as I don't have a professional NTSC monitor. I have been reading all about the color bars and pluges and all that stuff. Everything I've read says to use a blue filter to set the colors correctly.

My question is about this blue filter - I called my local camera shop (Ritz camera) and the guy said the only thing he has is something with the number 80A on it - will this be suitable to use as a blue filter?

Cool thanks for the link - I suppose I'll rent that DVD and see what I can get from there or maybe just buy the avia

  3. digital video essentials is also worth checking out, about half the price of avia

Monsters Inc also has the same test patterns as Moulin Rouge

  4. A Wratten 47b blue filter should work for the calibration.
