I've been futzing with encoding video for playback on a Palm Zire 71 using mmPlayer without success, so I was excited to see H.263 encoding in 0.0.9L. But when I encode a (DiVX? I'll have to check) .avi using the new preset and play it in mmPlayer, a 30-second clip zips by in about 3 seconds with no sound.
I thought it might be an encoding frame rate problem, but QT Player plays it just fine at normal speed. mmPlayer doesn't seem to have any settings to adjust this, and I couldn't figure out what to change in ffmpegX. Also, I think mmPlayer wants a resolution divisible by 16 in both directions, e.g., 320 x 160, but entering these dimensions (or any other dimensions I've tried) in ffmpegX's Video tab results in an error. Has anyone been able to playback a ffmpegX .3gp file in mmPlayer with better results?

I think 3gp files have only two accepted resolutions? I fiddled around with it for a while and could not create a file at anything other than those two sizes. They are both quite small I think, one is something like 176x96 or thereabouts, the other one is even smaller.
