I have encoded some videos (MPEG-1 VCD from internet, DV stuff edited on iMovie and exported to "Movie Self-contained" or "DV Stream" or "Full Quality DV") with memcoder and them doesn't play on WinXP. Why?!

Probably because you don't have any software on your WinXP machine that can play DV.
