How many video game consoles do you own?

Thanks again for voting! Wow I knew I'd get some responses but not this good. Maybe we should come up with a pc gaming poll (including emulators ).

From what I can remember Woolworths had the exclusive retail rights to vectrex, but I may be wrong. Its just I cant remember being able to get them from anywhere else.

Maybe they just pulled out of NY and a bunch of other places. I remember getting the Nintendo Power System from Woolworths, years ago. Had the gun, two controls and the power pad. That was the best thing to get a workout on.

I would have to say that emulators fall under a distinctly different catagory than PCs. The real question is, Does Morphgear count for 1 or 8? 8)

Can't have an emulator without a PC and a PC would be considered 'the console'. Sad fact. I do think there should be a thread that asks, "how many different emulator types do you use?"

Most that you can mod or for which there is a backup way....There is just something fun about being able to do that. I don't know what it is....

(I used to have an Atari Jaguar with CD butt game it to some kids that didnt have a system)

I remember my grandparents driving me to Woolworths in gloucester because the Swindon branch had sold out. Have you still got the coloured films that clip onto the screen to make each game look that bit more interesting . Just trying to remember when they came out, I guess around '82. They were the dogs bollocks in their time, with their fold away control pads.

Just trying to remember the games I had, there was an asteroid clone, scramble, and one with underground burrowing tanks can't remember it's name at the moment but I am sure it will come to me. I guess I had 8-10 games in total.

Just one, a new Sega Genesis 3 that I bought a few years back for $20. I have only Mortal Kombat 2 and Shaq Fu for it. That and my beloved 1989 era Gameboy which is broken. Ahhh, the memories.

I am not a big console buff. I think video games are stupid. I like computer games instead.

Thanks guys for keeping the poll going. I couldn't get online last night. We definitely should start a pc gaming poll. I think we'll get even more responses. So, is anybody buying DOOM 3 for one of the consoles? I know I'll be waiting for that one.

Hello Suntan,
Yes a modded xbox can run emulators. A few people have already mentioned playing nes and other games on their modded boxes. I could have added that option but I wanted to stick to "retail" consoles this time. If you want to start a modded poll best wishes.

Although Morphgear on my IPAQ does rock, have all of the games from my childhood in my pocket ready to go whenever I have time to kill.
