I brougth a music cd that is copy protected and dosent play on my PC (tracks are just 44k) can i make a backup of this cd or is it imposible. I tried CLONECD but the cd that was burn does not have any sound in it.

You might want to try Easy CD-DA extractor.
It works on everything I've ever tried it on. I'm using v7.0.

bloddy copy protected cds... i have one and it doesnt work on my standalone player.. keeps skipping... piece of shite... some cds take advantage of autorun and install copy protection software... it's basically spyware.. u can get around some by holding shift as the cd loads... oh and turn of autorun

I have seen CDs autorun with the Interactual player embedded. Once you say yes to install, you will not be able to copy the CD. You need to cancel anything that its says you need to isntall when you put it in your CD drive.If in doubt, Google it. -
