  1. Hi
    I convert my avi to svcd using TMPGEnc 2.5. I follow the guide on this website avi to svcd. I rip the audio using virtual dub. I load the movie and the wav file. After the encoding is finish. I burn to svcd using nero. When I play the svcd on my dvd player. I noticed the person lip is moving and then I hear the person talk 1 or 2 second later. Can anybody help me.

    are you sure that nero did not reconvert the video again?
    is the mpg encoded with tmpgenc in sync on your computer?

    Did you check for bad frames? Link below.

    Is it out by the same amount all the way through, does it get progressively worse or does it go out all of a sudden?

    Did you match the input and output frame rates?

  4. The video isn't out of sync on my computer. I think it only happen when I burn too nero. Is there away around this

    Have you tried the DVD in another DVD player or on your PC?

  7. Is your DVD player the Toshiba SD220E by any chance?
    This is a known issue with SVCDs.
    To solve this problem, press the 'Angle' button twice on the remote control when playing a SVCD.
