I'm trying to get rid of 2.5 - got 3 - but something must have been corrupted.
Anyway, I'd like to re-install (that should put back the uninstall file) but the http://www.pegasys-inc.com/ doesn't work. Anywhere else I can get the registered version?

  2. Not sure exactly what you mean by "pegasys-inc doesn't work," but have you tried downloading 2.5 and re-installing that version?

As a general computer tip, I've always felt safer uninstalling rather than upgrading on top of the existing version. It's the same principle that suggests a fresh install of Windows is better than an upgrade.

Thanks. Yes, that's what I was trying to do - but the site was down for hours - now it's back.

Actually, you can't install 3 over 2.5 - you just end up with both.

Another good reason not to try. The underlying moral lesson: Don't run with scissors and/or while upgrading over an existing installation.
