    I am interested in converting a VCD I made a few years ago into an avi or something else premiere 6.5 can read. The VCD is 10 minutes long and was created with imovie i believe (it was editing with imovie at least.) I need to convert it so I can touch it up with premiere and add a few things. I looked through the help guides and could not find one that was about dat files or VCD to avi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

    Use ISOBuster to convert to MPEG-1 or TMPGEnc to convert to AVI.
    With ISOBuster you right-click on DAT and select "convert to MPEG....".
    With TMPGEnc you select File->Output To File->AVI.
