    i have converted a vcd to dvd, all is ok apart from the fact that the sound only come through 1 speaker (it was the same on vcd), is there a way that i can get the sound to come through both speakers?

  2. Check if you file is in stereo.

    If it's mono then convert it to stereo with soundforge or similar program.

    How do you convert a mono track to stereo in Audacity? I just followed a guide that helped me get rid of the extra silent channel, thus changing it to mono. But I'm really trying to get it to become stereo. But the author of that guide did not know how to do this in Audacity. Please help!

  5. Look at this page where it talks about the "Duplicate" function.

    After you have duplicated the mono track combine them back together with the "Make Stereo Track" function. I assume you select both tracks then click the make stereo button, but I have never tried it and I am at work. Check this picture to see where it is.
