  1. Copied to dvd from camcorder on my panasonic E50. The disc is dvd-r and is finalized. It Plays on my other players.

Wanted to make copies on Pc. Have used alcohol, roxio, Nero, Dvd decrypter etc all to no avail.

The disc says it has copied and appears to have all the info but will not play on any dvd player. The disc is recognised by the players but will not play.

    can any one help

  2. Hmmm... I have an E50 and have frequently edited the DVD-R's it makes on the computer. I've used DVD Shrink to extract the VOB's with no problems. You could back up the DVD to your hard drive using DVD Shrink and then try burning copies from the back up file.

I've also used VOBEdit to extract/demux the VOB's into separate .m2v and .ac3 files. Then you could author a new simple DVD with IFOEdit.

Maybe give those two a try...

Also, since it is not a copy protected DVD, you should be able to make a disc-to-disc copy with Nero Express. That does not work?

  5. The disc are Dvd-r discs (Ritec). the original copy will play on any dvd player. It is only when you copy on the computer it that it will not play on other Dvd players.

I Have a panasonic 106 and a panasonic 107 tried on both still no joy

Tried dvdshrink as you suggested still the same problem

    Thanks

  7. Well, I'm stumped on this one. The media (Ritek) has worked out OK for other DVD's you've made?

  9. When you used DVD Decrypter did you use the ISO mode or the file mode? You should be able to read then write in ISO. If you used file then you have to select all the files to copy to your hard drive to a VIDEO_TS folder. Then you could use a player like PowerDVD to test the files before burning.
