How to finalize a DVD with a Panasonic DMR-E55????

I am really, REALLY new to burning DVD's. I bought a Panasonic DMR-E55 from Best Buy and I can't figure out how to finalize the DVD-R so that I can watch it on a different DVD player. Can someone here PLEASE walk me thru this? Thanks.

not to sound that rude, but how about reading the manual that came with it--

i have an e-100.. i also had a problem finding how to finalise the disc which led to loads of other problems including me thinking that discs id created would never work on anyones machine..

if your box, is similar to my box..

in DVD mode (not sure if u hav a HD)..try going to the functions menu..and going to disc info, while your semi finished disc is in the drive..

u should find an option to finalise the disc

I did read the manual, but I can't figure out which menu the option to finalize it should be in.

LOOK ON PAGE 33 OF THE MANUAL. THE LAST SECTION IS TITLED FINALIZE. THESE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS. I ASSUME YOU ARE USING DVD-R FOR THE RECORDING MEDIA.
