Which encoder to use?

Hello, This is not a a which encoder is best question. But I have always used TMpengc for a long time. I was wondering what other encoders people use in this forum. If you can also tell me why you use it over another program. Thanks ahead.

Three other well-liked encoders mentioned regularly on this forum besides TMPGEnc Plus are Cinema Craft Encoder Basic, Mainconcept MPEG Encoder and Canopus Procoder.

i used to use CCE back when my main pc was an athlon 650. i preferred tmpgenc but it was tooooo slow. on my 2600 tmpgenc is nice and quick.
